Jean Hamilton
In 1951 Reverend Whitehead compiled a list of the headstones then in the churchyard, this is one of those that has now disappeared.
The photograph is of the area it was recorded.
Headstone was transcribed as "Mrs. Jean HAMILTON died at Pirbright Lodge 30 Oct 1836 aged 83"
Her Will (PCC PROB11 1870 Quire 142) proved on 9 December 1836 names daughters as Mary Hamilton, Agnes Pettigrew and Jean Paton. A grandson William Pettigrew is also named.
The family were from Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland
